Aim
Engaging projects to spread the gospel and serve others.Aims
To whole heartedly be committed to Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as the Bible tells us in John 20:31 “but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name”.
To be prepared for the lord’s coming by baptizing in water and being regular at communion.
(Corinthians 11:23-36) “For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”
To seek and encourage others to seek the release of the power of the Holy Sprite and daily filling with the Holy Spirit, Acts 2:17 “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams”.
To read the Bible regularly, accepting its inspiration and acting on it by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that the church may become grounded under the lordship of Christ. The lord is our strength as believers, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All scripture is given God- breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work”.
As a community to be committed to each other in unity and love.
Respecting and trusting the lord, as well as the leaders of the church. All women within the church are stand firm in developing the children and youths to be strong in the word of God, as Deborah did in Judges 5.

Church Background
Background of the church by Evangelist Ethel Kanu During a holiday trip to Sierra Leone in 2005, I, Evangelist Ethel Kanu, was having a prayerful moment and the lord ministered to me, saying that on my return to London, I should launch a ministry and carry out the lord’s work. Back in London, the thought was in me to do as the lord commented; I prayed and sought the lord daily to confirm his word again to me. During this time, I was in regular contact with a sister whom I knew from my congregation in Sierra Leone. She was unaware of what the lord had ministered to me, but she visited me and knew that the lord wanted me to start at home After hearing this, I prayed to the lord and thanked him for confirming his word, during this time of pray and worship, I felt the lord’s presences and decided to carry out the lord’s will. With this vision the home cell was established on 24th December 2006, in a sister’s house consisting of only three members. With the three members I had, we pressed on the word of God and took encouragement from the word of God in Ephesians 4:3 “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace”. We obeyed the word, and in doing, so the lord blessed the home cell every week with a new member, our faith was growing strong as the Bible said in Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” and Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three come together gather in my name, there am I with them.” Therefore, because we obeyed the word God was indeed with us. The church has grown in the last years To God be glory the congregation number is now consisting of 60 adults and 40 children still rising.
